Project Overview

This initiative involved establishing a supply chain for recycling and exporting ferrous scrap metal. FEBCO organized local collection networks, advised on sorting and processing standards, and managed the bulk sea freight from Umm Qasr to Turkish ports. We turned a local waste stream into a valuable export commodity, creating economic value and supporting the circular economy.

Handling all export documents and port logistics.
Exporting more than 20,000 tons of processed metal scrap per year.
Creating a new and sustainable revenue stream for local partners in Iraq.
